For four generations, beneath the clear skies of Provence, in the heart of Vaison-la-Romaine, Maison Augier & Fils has been carefully selecting the finest honeys and other products of the hive, all with the goal of ensuring the utmost happiness for their customers. Les Ruchers du Mont Ventoux Provence Lavender Honey has a consistency that is suitable for eating right off the spoon due to its thick and creamy texture, light yellow color, and ability to be spread. We adore the delicate floral and herbaceous perfume of lavender honey, which is noticeably cleaner and lighter in body than the aroma of other floral honeys. Lavender honey is one of the crown jewels of the assortment of honeys that may be produced in this region. One of the honeys that are distinctive of Provence is called creamy lavender honey, and the harvesting season for it runs from the end of June to the beginning of August. The honey has a very light hue and a very faint aroma, but when it crystallizes, it takes on a little whiter appearance.
Texture like cream. Its squeezer presentation allows it to be easily used by children, or to be dosed accurately and thus avoid waste.
The Provence origin of this honey is guaranteed by the Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) label.
