Fennel Seeds are slender light green or brown seeds resembling long-rain rice. Fennel seeeds are similar to star anise with a licorice-like aroma and taste but on the sweeter side. Our Fennel Seed, from Vietnam, has a volatile oil content of approximately 1% by weight and is somewhat less sweet than Euopean Fennel.
